Race for Epilepsy! The Fourth Annual Seize the Moment Run in Downtown Sacramento benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California.
There is an event for everyone:
--Run or walk the 5K
--Run the 10K
--Run the kids ½ mile
Join us after the race for free food, drink, and music!
Out of an abundance of caution for public health and safety, the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California is postponing the Seize the Moment Run for Epilepsy previously scheduled for March 19th. As a health-focused organization, we made this difficult decision in light of the many unknowns about the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation.
We understand the disappointment and difficulties this may cause. Our tentative new date for the event will be during November Epilepsy Awareness Month. We will confirm the date as soon as possible.

All 5k and 10k finishers receive a commemorative medal!
Custom race shirt with available tech tee upgrade option, refreshments, music, awards, kids’ entertainment, festival, chip timing, and a commemorative finisher's medal.
AWARDS & AGE DIVISIONS
Awards ceremony to follow event at 10:00 a.m. Prizes for overall male and female winners; masters (age 40 & over) male and female winners; and top finishers in each age division. All kids in 1/2-mile races receive medals.
12 & Under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

8:15 am 1/2-mile kid
8:30 am 10K
8:40 am 5K
• WHEN: TBD as we get closer to the run
• WHERE: Fleet Feet-Sacramento (2311 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95816).
• If you cannot pick up your packet or register at Fleet Feet Sports-Sacramento, no problem. You can register and pick up your packet on RACE DAY at Crocker Park.
• RACE DAY Registration and packet pick-up starts at 7:00 AM.
Our First Aid Tent will be staffed by nurses.
LOST & FOUND
Lost and found items will be collected at the Volunteer Tent.
STROLLERS & DOGS
Strollers are permitted in the race. We just ask that you and your bundle of joy start the race in the back of the pack. No scooters, bikes, skates, skateboards on the course.
Only service dogs are allowed to participate in our event. Unfortunately all other dogs are not allowed to participate in the run. Sorry to all of our four legged friends.
Parking Garage at SPPPLUS - 300 Capitol Mall for participants to park. $10.00 Parking Fee will apply. Entrance to the garage is on ‘N’ St., between 3rd & 4th St.
There are no refunds for all race entries.
